Good visual comfort requires optimal luminance distribution to avoid contrasting light levels that are too bright or too low, which could strain the eyes and cause discomfort or vision damage.

Minimizing glare and shadows are essential features to consider when choosing lighting fixtures. Patient areas must also be adequately lit; lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere and helps patients relax, making the medical environment more familiar.

CONSULTING AND SERVICES

Consulting, project development, and lighting calculations are services the company offers, allowing you to verify the suitability of the proposed lighting fixtures already in the design phase. Certain data, such as luminance distribution, the amount of light on the work surface and surrounding areas, and reflection and glare factors, will be visible on the project and easily verifiable.

OPTIMAL LIGHTING

Considering installing a lamp approximately 2.3 - 2.4 m from the floor, in a central position within the dental office and parallel to the workstation (the dental chair), all lamps guarantee over 1000 lux on the work surface, i.e., the patient's mouth, at a height of approximately 80 cm from the floor. Furthermore, as required by the regulations, the entire surrounding area is adequately illuminated (500 lux).
